Women and Business Conference for Syrian Women in Lattakia

The Lattakia International Chamber of Commerce and the Mawred Association organize the Women and Business Conference in Lattakia "When She Leads". 

Conference Idea:

""When She Leads" is a conference that will take place on 29-30 June 2019, which includes a group of Syrian women with an active economic role in the Syrian society along with a new group of women wishing to enter the business world while this conference provides a series of specialized lectures to ensure their entry in a more professional way to invest in small, medium and large enterprises, and work to create an environment to connect these women with each other to exchange experiences and information and promote economic partnerships and networking among them.

Conference Goals:

• Highlight on Syrian Businesswomen.
• Encourage and empower women to initiate and establish their own projects to promote the economy.
• Encourage Syrian women to overcome the difficulties of the crisis and it's negative effects on professional, social and economic life.
• Provide women with a range of managerial and planning skills to start their own projects.
• Advocating for positive change in the business world by promoting the idea of women's involvement in the economic field.
• Connect women with each other to encourage partnerships among them.

Target Group:

• Syrian Business Women.
• Women wishing to enter the business world.

Conference Details:

• Time: Saturday and Sunday, 29-30 June 2019.
• Location: Lamira Resort (formerly Meridian) - Saladin Hall.
• Time: 10:00 am to 2:10 pm with lunch at 2:30 pm at Manuela Restaurant (1st day)
              10:00 am to 3:20 pm (2nd day)
• Participation fee: 20,000 SYP; including lunch on the first day
                                  15,000 SYP for the members of the International Youth Chamber and members of the Mawred Association (Seats Limited)
