Opportunity description
The Emirates Volunteers Program announces a volunteer opportunity in the Secret Volunteer Initiative in the United Arab Emirates. The “Secret Volunteer” initiative is a unique initiative that aims to enhance the quality of volunteer efforts in all the emirates of the country, through which 15 distinguished volunteers from various emirates of the country are selected to work secretly under the supervision of the Emirates Volunteer Platform team, in order to evaluate the work of the teams and volunteer opportunities. The "secret volunteer" will participate in various volunteer opportunities in order to monitor and evaluate the performance of volunteer teams in implementing various volunteer opportunities in all emirates of the country. The “Secret Volunteer” assessment will contribute to ensuring high standards in volunteer work and promoting continuous improvement in volunteer programs, thus contributing to creating a more effective and influential volunteer scene.

- Promote excellence by selecting and encouraging outstanding volunteers to contribute to improving volunteer opportunities and community programs.
- Enhancing cooperation between volunteers and stakeholders by exchanging notes and directions to improve volunteer work.
- Supporting innovation and renewal in the field of volunteer work by providing opportunities for new experiences and different initiatives.
- Enhancing transparency and accountability by submitting periodic reports on the performance of volunteer teams and the results of their evaluation.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by directing volunteers towards developing their skills and enhancing their capabilities.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Attending volunteer opportunities announced on the Emirates Volunteers platform according to the emirate to which it belongs.
- Participate in various volunteer opportunities as a regular volunteer in order to monitor and evaluate the performance of volunteer teams in implementing volunteer opportunities to other entities.
- After completing the volunteer opportunity, evaluate the volunteer teams and volunteer opportunities using the approved evaluation form from the Emirates Volunteers platform.
- Attending at least two (2) volunteer opportunities per month for different volunteer teams/entities.
- Attending periodic meetings with the Emirates Volunteers Platform team.
- Submitting reports periodically to the Emirates Volunteers Platform team.
- Inform the Emirates Volunteers Platform team if you wish to withdraw from the “Secret Volunteer” initiative at any time.
Eligibility criteria
You must:
- Successfully pass the personal interview.
- Be 18 years old or older.
- Volunteers of both genders can apply for this opportunity.
- A number of (2) people will be selected from each emirate
- The number of volunteer opportunities in which you participated is more than 20.
- You must be between 18 and 45 years old.
- You must be fluent in English and Arabic.
- Commitment to your mission and respecting the laws and rules of the Emirates Volunteers platform.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your identity and work and do not disclose any information related to the Emirates Volunteers platform or the activities in which you participate.
- Skills necessary to successfully carry out your mission.
- Be disciplined and committed to the directions of the Emirates Volunteers Platform and the responsibilities assigned to you.
- You must be a person trusted by the Emirates Volunteers Platform and able to work with a high level of trust and responsibility.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- The ability to communicate effectively with officials on the Emirates Volunteers platform, in order to receive directives and submit reports periodically.
- The ability to analyze information and evaluate situations accurately.
- Commitment to high ethical standards, and avoiding any behavior that could harm the Emirates Volunteers platform or conflict with its values.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, and carry out tasks on time and to the highest level of quality.
- Long-term commitment to volunteer initiatives and working to achieve their long-term goals.
