Tashkeel platform announces a workshop from the Monetary Group Club in the United Arab Emirates. Group criticism is one of the best ways to build conceptually strong roots in artistic practices. This session will contribute to helping the artist develop their critical thinking and public speaking skills and gain a better understanding of how to communicate their work to a larger audience.

About Tashkeel:
Latifa bint Maktoum established the Tashkeel Center in Dubai in 2008 to provide an incubating environment for the development of contemporary art and design practices in the United Arab Emirates. The center opens the door to creative and experimental practices and dialogue between practitioners and the community at large, as it provides multidisciplinary studios, work spaces and exhibitions in Nad Al Sheba and Al Fahidi neighbourhood. Tashkeel adopts an open membership model and its annual program of training, residencies, workshops, discussions, exhibitions, international collaborations and publications aims to support the development of artistic practitioners, engage the community and promote a lifelong learning approach as well as support the various creative and cultural industries.
