Hopin invites Gamers to Join the 2021 Games for Change (G4C) Festival that will take place virtually from July 12 – 14. Join a global community of developers, educators, students, and researchers to ignite our imaginations about how games and immersive media can help us realize the potential of the years ahead and address our collective challenges: achieving equity and social justice, ensuring a thriving planet, and regaining a sense of security.
Games continue to be a powerful tool to inspire, connect, and change the world, supporting today’s most pressing challenges. The 2020 Games for Change Festival connected almost 7,000 people from across 81 countries, and G4C2021 will aim to connect even more!

Participants will experience the following at G4C Festival:
- Three days of live-streamed talks, panels, and special announcements from the G4C and XR for Change communities.
- A series of round table discussions geared toward professional knowledge-sharing.
- An interactive virtual Expo featuring games, XR experiences, sponsors, and G4C programs.
- The XR Immersive Arcade highlighting the newest emerging XR experiences for social impact.
- The Games for Change Awards Ceremony and G4C Awards Showcase celebrating the 2021 G4C Awards finalists!
In addition to the July 12-14 Virtual Festival, G4C is also hosting XR Brain Jam, as a virtual event from June 19-27. The XR Brain Jam pairs researchers with XR game developers and digital creatives to explore the intersection of games, science, and the power of immersive technology. G4C will also host a virtual Workshop Week (July 6-10) exploring impact design methodologies, utilizing the power of games in the classroom, and more.

This festival is free to attend and open to game lovers from developers, educators, students, and researchers from all around the world.
