Kaggle is offering Big Data Derby 2022 competition - Analyze horse racing data to improve the health of the horse and strategy of competition
The goal of this competition is to analyze horse racing tactics, drafting strategies, and path efficiency. You will develop a model using never-before-released coordinate data along with basic race information.
Your work will help racing horse owners, trainers, and veterinarians better understand how equine performance and welfare fit together. With better data analysis, equine welfare could significantly improve.

Eligibility criteria
- Competitions are open to residents of the United States and worldwide, except that if you are a resident of Crimea, Cuba, Iran, Syria and North Korea or are subject to U.S. export controls or sanctions, you may not enter the Competition.
- One account per participant: You cannot sign up to Kaggle from multiple accounts and therefore you cannot submit from multiple accounts.
- No private sharing outside teams: Privately sharing code or data outside of teams is not permitted. It's okay to share code if made available to all participants on the forums.
- Team Limits: The maximum team size is 5.
- You can make as many submissions as you like, but we will only consider your latest submission before the deadline of November 10th.
- If you are submitting as a team, you do NOT need to merge within the Kaggle platform (it's actually disabled), but all team members must be listed as collaborators on the submitted Notebook, and all team members must accept the competition rules before the submission deadline.
- A valid submission will include a Notebook Analysis. All notebooks submitted must be made public on or before the submission deadline to be eligible. If submitting as a team, all team members must be listed as collaborators on all notebooks submitted. Click here to go to the Submission form
