Kurius is offering the 2021 KuriusHacks: Summer Edition; a 48-hour virtual hackathon open to high school, CÉGEP (General and vocational college), and undergraduate students focused on the creation of social good. Through this hackathon, you will be able to create solutions to real-world problems faced by non-profit organizations. This hackathon provides students the opportunity to make a tangible impact in their community by solving ACTUAL problems faced by nonprofits through code.

• The top 3 winners get an internship interview at a tech startup company.
• 1-year of full access to egghead.io, the premium platform to boost your skills in web development, worth $250.
• 1 month of Repl.it Hacker Plan, the ultimate online collaboration coding platform.
• 1-year subscription to Axure RP Team Edition, the UX prototyping tool for professionals, worth $504.
• A professional plan of Figma for all participants.

This hackathon is open to high school, CÉGEP (General and vocational college), and undergraduate students.

Judging Criteria:

• Quality of Idea: Includes creativity and originality.
• Implementation of Idea: Includes how well the idea was executed by the developer and the extent to which the optional tools were leveraged.
• Potential Impact: Includes the extent to which the solution can help individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
