The Digital Media Festival is the first official Italian Festival of the web series. The Digital Media Fest wants to promote a new model of interaction between the traditional film and the latest kind of productions, which use the Internet to create and upload their content.
The Digital Media Fest is not just a celebration of the web series, it is aiming to become a permanent multimedia showcase for the newest talents and independent productions. In fact, the Digital Media Fest is the central event of the organization, which works constantly and continuously with the web content over the year.
The Digital Media Fest is just not an event, a competition, a celebration of the new digital trends, a showcase for independent content, but has the goal to represent the contemporary media world with a permanent area in which to share new ideas and projects and to create new connections between other authors and productions, in order to lead the websphere to the consecrated film factory.
The Festival, built in a canonical way with an annual event, allows even the oldest and most conservative companies to discover and appreciate new kinds of entertainment, creating a direct link with authors, filmmakers, and actors of the web series during the event. A sort of Market- Festival to promote the talents of the web and turn the contemporary movie scene into a new kind of cinema, that could be closer to the needs of the audience.
Fashion Film:
“Fashion film” means audiovisual products characterized by an element of drama or emotional impact that has as its object fashion (a topic of fashion, a fashion item);
"FASHION FILMS" are audiovisual works, which are used by designers and brands to present a new product or collection and its concept.
The types are various. There is a more commercial form, which seeks to sponsor the products of the collections using a subject and a script. But there are many that do not even show the product, that does not have a linear story, with a script, but that only try to evoke a series of references and sensations with respect to that brand or that collection.
In all cases, the fashion film is made for a brand, a designer, or a group of brands united by a style that they want to communicate. In all other cases we are dealing with short films;

Eligibility criteria
- The fashion film contest may be registered by authors, fashion schools, and audiovisual Italian and foreign production companies and at the time of subscription, the authors must have legal age;
- To enter the contest, authors and companies claim to be the owners and the exclusive owner of all rights of economic use of fashion film and have accepted the disclaimer regarding the content of the film, will also have to declare that the fashion film is original and not infringe the rights of third parties; in this regard the Digital Media Fest and ANCEF indemnify from any claim advanced by anyone, at the time of subscription the Digital Media Fest to publish is authorized to project the fashion film in the contest at the finals of the Digital Media Fest on days December 10th, 11th and 12th 2021, as well as use the name of fashion films and actors, directors, writers and technicians connected, images extrapolated of fashion film or associates to it, to publicize the festival itself;
- The fashion film that is posted must have been recorded from January 1st, 2019 to 14th September 2021;
- Each author, school, or club can enter the contest with more than a fashion film;
- Foreign series not in English must be subtitled in English or Italian;
- By entering the competition, you accept the subscription to the newsletter of Digital Media Fest.
- The Italian and foreign fashion films will be evaluated according to the same criteria, on the basis of the following criteria: high artistic value, technical quality of the film, as the technical and technological value of the components of the film project, potential to appeal to an international audience, competence professional and technical proponents, innovation of the language and web- awareness;
- The fashion film may deal with any subject, as long as they are not contrary to law and not prove detrimental and offensive to human rights and the dignity of the person, or contrary to moral and ethical principles.
