Eligibility criteria

  • Applicants must be eligible to enroll at Charles Darwin University in a full-time Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program.
  • Candidates must meet the academic admission requirements for a master's or doctoral degree by research at Charles Darwin University.
  • Applicants for the master's scholarship must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
  • Doctoral scholarship applicants must have completed both bachelor's and master’s degrees.
  • Candidates should demonstrate exceptional research potential to pursue the HDR program.
  • International applicants must provide evidence of meeting the minimum English language proficiency requirements for Charles Darwin University. For more details, please visit the university’s admission requirements.
  • Applicants should not be receiving any other sources of support for their living expenses if this amount exceeds 75% of the RTP stipend rate.
