Civics Unplugged is inviting high school students around the world to participate in a three-month leadership program empowering Gen Zers representing every region of the globe with the tools, training, and funding they need to become civic innovators. The program is digital-first, entirely free, and features in-person convenings. CU will support accepted Fellows who cannot access the program.

- Dive Deep into Civic Innovation:
Spend three months learning about past and present Civic Innovators, and what it takes to make a change. Each week, you'll tackle a real-world issue and have the opportunity to put it into action.
- Join a Community of Superheroes:
After completing the Fellowship, the Civics 2030 Community matches you with internships, directly invests in your projects, and supports your journey.
Eligibility criteria
High school students from anywhere in the world. Students on a Gap Year are also eligible!
THE FELLOWSHIP TIMELINE:
The Fellowship takes high schoolers on a three-month journey to joining a revolutionary community that paves a new path forward for humanity.
- Month 1:
Complete a self-guided orientation that sets you up for success for the rest of the program, and meet the members of your Fellowship cohort.
- Month 2:
Spend 10 weeks getting to know your amazing Fellowship class through fun, interactive learning experiences that teach you about yourself, your peers, and the systems you aim to make better.
- Month 3:
Draft your Civics 2030 Pledge, and join the Civics 2030 community, where you can work with our partners or access funding to build the future of humanity.
