Contest for Cartoonists and Prizes up to $1,000 from Gold Pencil

Gold Pencil invites professional and beginner cartoonists to participate in the annual competition held within the 2021 Semarang International Cartoon Festival. The theme for this year's competition is “Human Rights Violations in Cartoonist’s Viewpoint”.

• Best I: IDR 17,500,000 (about $1200)
• Best II: IDR16,500,000 (about $1100)
• Best III: IDR 15,500,000 (about $1000)

• This cartoon festival is opened for professional and beginner cartoonists around the world.
• The cartoonist is allowed to submit 5 works in maximum.
• Cartoonists are allowed to send published or unpublished work.
• The submitted work has never received any awards from another contest.
• The maximum work size file is 5 MB, JPG format 300 dpi
• The work must be original.
• The committee has the right to use the work for publication, branding, and other purposes that are still relevant to the festival.
• Participants will get a digital certificate.
