Opportunity description
Instructables is inviting creative artists all over the world to participate in the ‘Jigs & Rigs Speed Challenge’. The objective of the Contest is to Submit a new Instructable that shows how to make a jig, rig, or other helpful fixture that holds or supports something that meets the format, content and other requirements of the competition.
Competition Theme:-
- Makers often create a variety of special jigs, rigs, and fixtures simply to be able to complete some other creative project.
- Common examples are metalworking clamping fixtures, photography or videography rigs, and woodworking jigs like cutting sleds and router guides. But how about other creation-supporting aids related to crafting, sewing, cooking, and so on?
- Show how to make the things that help you to produce efficient, safe, or repeatable results in your projects
- Projects that simply include the use of homemade jigs, rigs, and fixtures are eligible as well - at minimum, be sure to highlight the item and provide some useful details for how it was made.

About Instructables:-
Instructables is a place that lets you explore, document, and share your creations. The seeds of Instructables germinated at the MIT Media Lab as the future founders of Squid Labs built places to share their projects, connect with others, and make an impact on the world. Instructables was officially spun out of Squid Labs in the summer of 2006, and has gone on to grow from a modest hundreds of projects to over one hundred thousand.
