The Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities invites researchers all over the world to a fellowship opportunity in the field of digital interdisciplinary research. These Fellowships of between two and four months are intended to encourage outstanding, international scholarly collaboration, and networking activities of Visiting Research Fellows with a specific focus on the digital. It would particularly welcome applications linked to the themes of the new Institute Project on Decoloniality (IPD'24) taking place at IASH from 2021 to 2024. This project invites scholars from around the world to visit Edinburgh and conduct research on the theme of decoloniality, broadly understood.

Eligibility criteria
You should follow the following criteria:
- Candidates for Fellowships will hold a doctorate or equivalent professional qualification.
- Consideration will be given to the academic record and the publications of all applicants and their capacity to disseminate their views among a community of like-minded people.
- Candidates should give evidence of any contact they have made with researchers at the University of Edinburgh.
- Competition for Fellowships is intense and preference may be given to applicants who have not previously held a Fellowship at the Institute or an equivalent institution.
- Fellows should be residents in Edinburgh throughout the tenure of their Fellowship and to play a full part in the activities of the Institute.
- The minimum tenure for a Fellowship is two months; applications for less than two months will not be considered.
- Referees should submit their reports to the Institute by the closing date.
- Applications may include a copy of any one article or publication that is thought to be especially relevant to the research proposal.

It provides an international, interdisciplinary and autonomous space for discussion and debate.
