Architecture Competition and a Chance to Win 24,870 USD

The municipality of Dobrich invites all professionals with an attitude and interest in urban planning and design to participate in an international competition. It aims to challenge the participants to present their ideas, give freedom to their imagination and present their concept for the renewal and development of the central city part of Dobrich.

If you are among the winners, you will have:

• First Place: 50,000 BGN (~24,870 USD)
• Second Place: 40,000 BGN (~19,900 USD)
• Third Place: 30,000 BGN (~14,920 USD) 
• Two incentive prizes in the amount of BGN 5,000 (~2490 USD) each.
• Part of the award is the opportunity to commission the production of a technical and work investment project and carry out author supervision.

You should follow the following criteria:

• This is a fair competition of ideas and concepts to obtain the best solution for the central pedestrian zone and a project to realize subsequently.
• The competition seeks to obtain a concept for development, improvement and design of the central part of the city of Dobrich. within the scope of Zone A, and for the scope of Zone B – a conceptual design.
• Landscaping

• The competition is open for participation without restrictions to all Bulgarian and foreign persons or their associations.
• There are no restrictive conditions for economic and financial requirements for the participants.

• Deadline for registration through the competition's website: 15/11/2022.
• Deadline for submission of projects: 30/11/2022.
• Announcement of results: 19/12/2022.
