Opportunity description

Community Development Authority in cooperation with Nabdhalemarat Volunteer Team, and Dubai Metro offer a field volunteer opportunity for worker and non-worker; Dubai Metro Ambassador for Expo 2020 that will last for 3 months. The Volunteers will be called “Ambassador” and they will be deployed on platforms in the mainline and in trains (selected areas such as Gold Cabin and women’s and children cabin).

Duties & responsibilities

As a Revenue Protection Volunteer, you will be responsible for:

  • Perform customer service on Metro station platforms and on selected Trains and areas after completing training.
  • Guide the passenger address requirement and respond to their queries.

Eligibility criteria

You must follow these conditions:

  • Commitment to attend and leave.
  • Wearing a black abaya for women wearing the white kandora for men, the iqal and the ghutra.
  • Speaking English.
  • Working in shifts.
  • Communication skills with clients.
  • Reducing the use of private devices (mobile phones).
  • Medically fit.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Wear an approved jacket while working.
  • Adherence to the instructions of the commander.

About the Community Development Authority (CDA):

The Community Development Authority (CDA) was founded by a decree of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in July 2008. CDA is responsible for setting up and developing a framework for social development and aims to achieve the goals outlined in the Dubai Strategic Plans. It is in charge of the overall supervision to achieve social sector outputs, and provide the provisions of social services in order to create an integrated and efficient management system for the development of social services in the emirate. This includes the preparation, execution, and supervision of comprehensive strategic plans, and proposing legislation related to social services to improve the outputs of the social development sector.
