Opportunity description
EMERGENCY is pleased to announce an illustration competition, which is launched to mark the 30th anniversary of its founding. It, alongside Desall, is inviting students, young designers, and upcoming talent from around the world to come up with a drawing of “a story yet to be written”, which depicts the work, values, and ideas of its organization.
Benefits
If you are among the winners, you will have:
- The winning drawing will be printed on a celebratory T-shirt, which will be part of a collection of 12 T-shirts with drawings by internationally famous artists.
- The winner will receive a free set of all 12 celebratory T-shirts by the end of 2024.
- Your professional profile will be added to the international communication plan used by EMERGENCY and Desall.
Eligibility criteria
You should follow the following criteria:
- Participation is free of charge and open to students, young designers, and upcoming talent aged 18 or older, from any country.
- Participants may submit one or more unedited, copyright-free images.
- Photographic content or images created using AI software will not be accepted.
- All text (abstract, description, tags, etc.) must be in English.
- In case of submitting multiple projects or concepts, you have to repeat the upload procedure for each project: do not submit multiple projects with a single submission.
- There are no specific restrictions on the style and colors of the illustration.
- Digital illustration techniques are acceptable.
- Please submit up to 5 images and comprehensive descriptions to effectively showcase your project.
- Image specifications:
- Aspect ratio: 4:3.
- Accepted file formats: .jpg, .gif, .png.
- Colour mode: RGB.
- Maximum file size: 1MB per image.
- For students: your submission should also include personal details such as your full name, age,
university affiliation, and your current academic year. - You are encouraged to upload the source material of your project as a .zip file, 100MB max.
Judging Process:
The jury will assess the submitted drawings based on the following criteria:
- Ability to convey the message
- Consistency with the brand
- Aesthetic quality
- Emotional impact
- Technical feasibility
