Opportunity description
Erasmus Mundus is offering two-year MSc Scholarships in Chemical NanoEngineering. The program is a joint master's program offered by three European universities: Aix-Marseille University in France, Tor Vergata University in Rome, Italy and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Poland. Selection committee is held in March. Students are immediately informed whether their name is on accepted, reserve or refused lists. Students are informed about the final status of their applications in June.
Benefits
The amount of the scholarships given to the selected students differ from the country of origin of the students.
There are two categories of students:
- PROGRAMME Countries students: Students whose citizenship is one of the Erasmus+ Program countries (ie Member States of the European Union (EU) and Former Yougoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Turkey).
- PARTNER Countries students: All the students who are not Programme Countries students.
Monthly allowance for subsistence costs given to the awarded students during the two-years Master program is: 1000 €/month. However, the monthly allowance will neither be given to the scholarship holders for the periods spent during the Master (study/research/thesis) in their country of residence, nor to scholarships holders for the periods spent in any Partner Country exceeding 3 months.
Contribution to the travel and installation costs:
- 1.000€ per year for scholarship holder’s resident in a Programme Country.
- 2.000€ per year for travel costs + 1.000€ for installation costs for scholarship holder’s resident in a Partner Country whose location is situated at less than 4.000km from Marseille.
- 3.000€ per year for travel costs + 1.000€ for installation costs for scholarship holder’s resident in a Partner Country whose location is situated at more than 4.000km from Marseille.
Contribution to the Participation Costs:
- 4.500€ per year for scholarship holder if citizen of the Programme Country.
- 9.000€ per year for scholarship holder if citizen of the Partner Country.
Eligibility criteria
- A bachelor or equivalent degree in Science (Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Materials Science…).
- GPA (Grade Point Average) of at least 75% of the scale maximum is required.
- A good command of English must be certified (minimum language requirements: IELTS 6,2 or TOEFL iBT 91).
