Opportunity description

UNV offers a volunteer opportunity, it is looking for a graphic design volunteer who will play a pivotal role in enhancing UNOPS Syria's external communications. By creating visually compelling presentations and redesigning fact sheets, the volunteer will help effectively convey the impact of UNOPS's initiatives to partners, donors, and stakeholders, thereby supporting fundraising efforts and fostering greater collaboration.

Duties & responsibilities

Under the guidance of the program management advisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Support in producing one Canva/PowerPoint presentation for external partners.
  • Help in redesigning the external offer (Factsheet type).
  • Create a draft design based on the information made available by the UNOPS team.
  • Develop the design according to agreed requirements.
  • The final deliverables are both UNOPS Offer + UNOPS presentation (Canva or PowerPoint).
  • In addition, the technical and communication support is crucial in several interlinked tasks:
    • Contributing to the development of the NDC Implementation Plan.
    • Supporting the communication and outreach strategy under the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) project.
    • Updating and maintaining the Climate Change Lebanon website to ensure transparency and stakeholder engagement.
Please note: The design/layout should follow the corporate design guidelines, which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work 1 - 5 hours per week.
