Greenstorm Global Photography Award for In Harmony with Nature with Prize Pool of $1800

Greenstorm is accepting entries for Greenstorm Global Photography Award is organised annually in association with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). This is a globally popular platform for nature photographers to showcase their rarest creations, and an eminent international jury curates the Global Photo Festival. This green initiative reached 52 countries and has touched over 12 million young minds since its inception in 2009. Join the 14th edition of the awards and get behind the lens for a purpose.

Greenstorm has selected 'In Harmony with Nature' as the theme for the Greenstorm Global Photography Award 2022. There is a loftier purpose than just prestigious recognitions that gets you behind the lenses yet another time. Come on, pick up your cameras to raise a storm!

The finalists (the entries shortlisted for the exhibition) and the winners will be recognised in an Online/offline Award Ceremony held in December 2022. There would be 5 awards in total, the details of which are given below.

1. The winner of the Greenstorm Global Photography Award (decided based on jury’s marks and public votes) would carry home a cash prize of USD 1000 along with a certificate and medallion.
2. The winner of Jury’s Choice (decided based on jury’s marks) would carry home a cash prize of USD 500 along with a certificate and medallion.
3. There will be three Special Mentions (based on jury’s marks and public votes) and the winners would carry home a cash prize of USD 100 each along with a certificate and medallion.

1. Anyone except the members of the Greenstorm Foundation, Organic BPS, the jury and their families can participate.
2. Any photograph relating to the above-mentioned theme clicked between 1 January 2019, till date can be submitted. Any nature photograph relating to the theme ‘In Harmony with Nature’ can be included. The entries for the award can be uploaded to the website www.greenstorm.green with a description of not more than 100 words. The images must be in JPEG format and should be below 2 MB in size. The date and location of taking the photograph, and the Exif data is to be uploaded in the fields provided.
3. There are no restrictions on the number of entries. One can submit as many entries as desired for the award.
4. Entry to the award is free.
5. The photograph must be an original one taken by the contestant
6. Plagiarised photos will be disqualified
7. The entries should not have any identification details of the contestant
