The United Nations Volunteers Program is offering a volunteer opportunity as an editor for content that highlights the contributions of United Nations Volunteers in Jordan. This opportunity aims to draw attention to the achievements of United Nations Volunteers working in the Arab States region by documenting their success stories, outstanding achievements, powerful influence, and personal stories. These stories will then be published on the UNV Worldwide website.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting interviews with selected UN Volunteers currently working in the Arab States region and their supervisor(s).
- Write 3 success stories in line with the editorial style of the United Nations Volunteers Program.
- Selected volunteers upon completion of this program will receive certificates of appreciation from the United Nations Volunteers Program.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Previous writing/editing and interviewing experience in a humanitarian/development context.
- Basic knowledge of the United Nations system.
- Degree in communications, journalism, or any related field.
- Preferably familiar with the regional context.
- It is preferred that you be fluent in the Arabic language.
