Photocrowd is pleased to announce the launch of a photography competitionentitled; Macro Still Life, which is designed for macro photographers. Here are two genres - macro and still life - that seem tailor-made for each other. Both require a degree of attention to detail and allow for more contemplation of the subject matter - its placement, lighting, and composition. Still life is imagery of inanimate objects (both natural and manmade) and these offer the opportunity for the macro photographer to be deliberate and calculated in their approach.

Eligibility criteria
You must follow these terms:
- This contest is expert judged only with no rating by the crowd.
- You will be able to find out how you did when the judging or rating period has closed.
- Services are available only to individuals who are either: at least 18 years old, or at least 13 years old, and who are authorized to access the website by a parent or legal guardian.

- You are not allowed to do:
- Unlawfully infringes intellectual property rights.

- Make use of a false name or identity or a name or identity that you are not authorized to use.
- Contains any unsolicited advertising, or promotional materials.
- Creates or submits unwanted emails or comments to any Photocrowd.com users.
