Flemish Government is calling postgraduates all over the world to scholarships opportunity. These scholarships are awarded to students who are applied to a two-year Master's program at a Flemish higher education institution. This is your chance to get a valuable master's scholarship. However, to preserve your scholarship, you should obtain in the first academic year at least 54 ECTS.
Benefits
If you get this opportunity, you will have a scholarship amounts to:
- €8 400 for the academic year 2022-2023.
- €8 400 for the academic year 2023-2024.

Eligibility criteria
You must meet the following criteria:
- You apply to take up a master's degree program at a Flemish higher education institution.
- You should have a high standard of academic performance and/or potential, a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- Have a good knowledge of the English language (A minimum total score of 7.0 on the IELTS test, 94 on a TOEFL, or C1 level).
- Students who apply for a master's program at a school of arts have at least 6.5 on the IELTS test, 90 on the TOEFL or B2 level.
- You have to be accepted by the host institution in order to receive the scholarship.
- The applicant can be nominated by only one Flemish higher education institution.
- If the applicant is preselected by more than one Flemish higher education institution, he/she has to choose one Flemish higher education institution to submit his/her application into the Mobility Online tool.
- The previous degree obtained should be from a higher education institution located outside Flanders.
- Students who are already enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution cannot apply.
- The only exception is made for international students who, at the moment of their application in Spring 2022, are already enrolled in a specific preparatory program in order to start a master's program in September 2022.
- Students who enroll in the following programs for the academic year 2022-2023 are not eligible for the Master Mind Scholarship:
- Preparatory programs
- Bridging programs
- Distance learning
- Student mobility to partner institutions outside Flanders and Brussels during the master's program is allowed.
