Nouveaux Cinemas Short Film Festival in France

Film Free Way invites both professional and amateur filmmakers to participate in the 18th Nouveaux Cinemas Film Festival which takes place from 9-19 June 2022 in Paris. Short films of all genres such as narrative, animation, fantasy, etc. can be submitted.

Non-competitive festival. No Jury, no price, just fun to share movies together.

• There is no submission fee.
• The festival is organized by CINE FAC, a nonprofit organization. It takes place in Paris every year in June during 10 days.
• Additional screenings are organized all around the year in France and others countries.
• All digital Shorts films (shot with DV camera, HD camera, Mobile Phone, etc.) of any kind (narrative, animation, documentary, experimental Mash Up, VR 360°) may take part in the festival.
• Without conditions of nationality or date of production.
• Short film: maximum length 20 mn, credits included
• The festival reserves the right to accept other films duration in special cases.
• The film is only to be screened in French, with French subtitles or without dialogues.
• A applicant can submit more than one film.
• The participants grant the Festival, without any counterpart, the right to use and reproduce film excerpts (10% from the film duration, but not more than 3 minutes).
