The United Nations Volunteers Program announces an online volunteer opportunity to search for and hire the best environmental experts for a United Nations Development Program project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will support the project by identifying and recruiting senior environmental experts, conducting market research, managing the candidate database, using various platforms to engage potential candidates, and providing regular updates on sourcing efforts.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify the world's leading environmental experts.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential candidates, including their expertise, experience and contact information.
- Use various platforms (such as LinkedIn, professional networks, and job sites) to attract high-quality environmental experts.
- Review resumes and conduct initial offers to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for assigned roles.
- Communicate with potential candidates to inform them of opportunities available with UNDP in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Proven experience in headhunting or talent acquisition, preferably in the environmental sector.
- Strong research and market analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain a candidate database.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time remote position.
- Preferably familiar with the environmental field and the tasks of the United Nations Development Programme.
- Good level of English.
