Online Volunteer Opportunity in the Field of Research and Data Analysis at UNV

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising the United Nations country team within the Women’s Affairs Coordination Section at UN Women in the following areas of work:
  • Implement system-wide accountability frameworks and tools for gender mainstreaming.
  • Overseeing institutional processes that are at the heart of UN Women's priorities, such as monitoring the quadrennial comprehensive review and preparing the Secretary-General's reports.
  • Preparing reports on the implementation of the reform of the United Nations development system and engaging with the United Nations Sustainable Development Group.
• Conduct research and analyze data for the United Nations country team.
• Data analysis and research on the UNCT-SWAP Gender Equality Performance (UNCT-SWAP), the UNCT-GEM Gender Equality Index (UNCT-GEM), and the UN System Reform Agenda.
• Drafting minutes, memos, summaries, talking points, summary notes and other documents related to the research and data analyzes conducted.
• Compile information and provide data and other necessary information, including those related to the UN Country Team - SWAP, the UN Country Team - GEM, and UN Women's contribution to the UN system reform agenda to support corporate reporting, knowledge management and communications.
