Opportunity description

UNV announces an online volunteer opportunity to provide communications and administrative support to French speakers. You will support the Training Coordinator and Course Guides during live training sessions, and provide necessary support for community member-related tasks such as tracking student progress, making announcements, communicating with students, collecting homework and projects, etc.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Support the team throughout the training period (July-August).
  • Offering 3 to 6 live training sessions (evening sessions during the week and morning sessions on the weekend).
  • Support the FTL community by communicating with members via Discord and other channels.
  • Allocate enough time to interact with students.
  • Track student progress.
  • Collect homework and various projects.

Eligibility criteria

You must:

  • Be in your final year of study, and preferably have a bachelor’s degree in the field of social sciences or any related field; Or computer science or any related field.
  • Possess strong community experience.
  • Experience with Discord, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and Coursera tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong writing and speaking skills in French.
  • Knowledge of computer science and artificial intelligence.
  • It is preferable to have a working knowledge of the English language.
  • Have a working knowledge of the French language.
