Opportunity description
UNV offers an online volunteer opportunity to write blog posts aimed at raising awareness on the issues of disarmament and the protection of civilians during conflict among the Italian public, especially students and academia, with special attention in the content of the relationship between disarmament and SDG 16.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Choose sources of information related to the chosen topic.
- Drafting of articles in Italian for each topic in English chosen and approved (about 250 words).
- Review the edits and comments made by the L’Osservatorio team to draft articles.
- Translation of articles written in English to support the program's partnership with AtlasofWar.com.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Proficiency in English and Italian.
- Experience in writing and editing, especially for research institutes, human rights organizations, international organizations, and newspapers.
- Passion and willingness to gain experience in the field of volunteering.
