Opportunity description
UNV offers an online volunteer opportunity to translate the welcome guide from English to Russian. The CIS Forum of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, from 23 to 24 November, with the aim of exchanging best practices and forming joint institutes.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Translation of the eight-page welcome guide from English to Russian.
- The welcome guide will be used by participants at the CIS Forum, which will be held in Bishkek at the end of November.
- The purpose of this guide will be to provide foreign participants with brief information about Kyrgyzstan to make their trip easier, more comfortable and memorable.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Professional experience in the field of translation from English into Russian.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Certificate in translation or any related field.
- Good level of English.
- Fluency in Russian.
