Opportunity description

United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Design a logo for the Future Skills Academy.

Duration:

8 weeks/ 11 -15 hours

Duties & responsibilities

  • The task involves designing a logo for the Future Skills Academy initiative.
  • The logo should visually reflect the academy's mission to foster skill development, learning, and career growth. It should appeal to a young, professional audience.
  • The task includes the creation of a branding guide that outlines proper usage guidelines.
  • The logo should be adaptable for various uses and should work in both full colour and black-and-white versions.

Eligibility criteria

Required experience:

  • A degree in graphic design or a related field, providing a solid foundation in design principles, visual communication, and creative problem-solving.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in logo design or related graphic design work, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating logos and brand identities.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.
  • A strong understanding of modern design trends, colour theory, typography, and brand identity development.
  • Experience in creating versatile and scalable logos that can be used across multiple media, including digital platforms and print materials.

Languages: 

  • Arabic, Level: Fluent, Desirable
  • English, Level: Working knowledge, Desirable
