United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Design and layout for United Nations Global Compact‘s materials.
Duration:
6 weeks
Duties & responsibilities
- Critically assess the draft design/layout and discuss with the organization focal point on innovative ideas of redesigning the product
- Develop the design/layout according to agreed requirements (taking into account corporate design, branding guideline)
- Ensure the timely and effective delivery without risks that may lead to copyrights infringement.
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- 7 years of graphic design experience
- Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- Familiarity with printing and publishing processes, able to complete design work independently
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal supervisors and possibly external partners under supervision, understand and meet their needs
- Ability to complete design tasks on time and with quality results
- Demonstrated sound understanding of intellectual property and copyrights mindset and practices
- Applicants must provide a relevant portfolio showcasing their design work.
