Online Volunteer with UN Volunteers: Supporting ReliefWeb's social media outreach

United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Supporting ReliefWeb's social media outreach.

Duration:

8 weeks

• Contribute to ReliefWeb's existing social media archive.
• Promoting evergreen editorial content on Twitter and LinkedIn. 
• Go through ReliefWeb's existing content on disasters and emergencies.
• Select key reports, interactive products, training opportunities, and historical information for social media content creation to be promoted through various channels.
• prepare draft updates for Twitter and LinkedIn, and select accompanying visuals (photos), under the guidance of ReliefWeb editors.

Required experience:

• Expert in writing and editing
• Knowledge of social media marketing
• Fluency in English
• Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish (ReliefWeb's two other primary languages) is an asset
• Past work with Trello is a plus, but not required (candidate(s) will be trained)
• Ability to understand business goals and the target audience is desirable.
