United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Supporting ReliefWeb's social media outreach.
Duration:
8 weeks
Duties & responsibilities
- Contribute to ReliefWeb's existing social media archive.
- Promoting evergreen editorial content on Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Go through ReliefWeb's existing content on disasters and emergencies.
- Select key reports, interactive products, training opportunities, and historical information for social media content creation to be promoted through various channels.
- prepare draft updates for Twitter and LinkedIn, and select accompanying visuals (photos), under the guidance of ReliefWeb editors.
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- Expert in writing and editing
- Knowledge of social media marketing
- Fluency in English
- Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish (ReliefWeb's two other primary languages) is an asset
- Past work with Trello is a plus, but not required (candidate(s) will be trained)
- Ability to understand business goals and the target audience is desirable.
