Wells Festival of Literature announce an Online Young Poets Competition with a Chance to Win £200.
Benefits
- The first place winner will receive £200.
- The second place winner will receive £150.
- The third place winner will receive £100.
Eligibility criteria
- Entry costs just £3 per poem.
- This competition targets participants between the ages of 16 and 22 years old.
- Participants may submit only one entry.
- All submissions must be anonymous, so do not put your name or contact details in the file title. Your name and contact details will be recorded on the application form.
- Include a title and page number on each page of your post.
- Participated poems can be about any topic.
- Poems should not exceed 35 lines in length.
- Save your work file in PDF format.
- The file name should be just the title of the poem, written exactly like the document, for example: I wandered lonely as a cloud.
