Opportunity description

Politecnico di Torino is offering bachelor scholarships for high-quality international students. The scholarship value is 8000 € per year (gross amount) for 3 years (duration of the Bachelor of Science program).

About the Scholarships:-

The project will award 10 scholarships for international students at the Bachelor level as follows:

  • 5 scholarships for Engineering.
  • 1 scholarship for Design and Communication.
  • 1 scholarship for Territorial, Urban, Environmental and Landscape Planning.
  • 3 scholarships for Architecture.

Benefits

  • The Gross Amount of the scholarship is 8.000 € per year for the entire duration of the degree program (3 years). The amount after Politecnico taxation for the beneficiary account is 7373,27€ per year. 
  • The scholarship is meant to cover the three years of the Bachelor of Science program for A.Ys. 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24.
  • The awarding of the scholarship (8,000€) for the second and third years is subject to the achievement of academic merit requirements.

Eligibility criteria

  • Application is open to international students (even those holding Italian citizenship) who meet the following requirements:
  • Having a Secondary High School Diploma awarded by schools located outside Italy and the Republic of San Marino.
  • Having attended the last year of secondary school in a school outside Italy and the Republic of San Marino at the moment they are sitting the admission test.
  • Attending a study program at a university outside Italy at the moment of sitting the admission test for no more than two years, and, in all cases, when applicable, the minimum entry requirements to access an Italian university must be fulfilled.
  • Having been born on or after January 1st, 2000
  • Fulfilling the access requirements for admission to Bachelor Degree Programs for the academic year 2021/22. You can check these requirements from here.
  • Enrolling at Politecnico di Torino in the 2021/22 academic year for the first time in a Bachelor of Science program in Engineering, Design and Communication, Territorial, Urban, Environmental and Landscape Planning or Architecture.
  • It is not possible to apply for scholarships if:
  • You have been legally resident or temporarily domiciled in Italy/the Republic of San Marino for any period over the last 5 years from the publication of this call with the exception of applicants who attended Italian language and culture courses or Foundation courses in an Italian University or private language schools located in Italy.
  • You have been enrolled, before the 2021/22 academic year, in any First (Bachelor Degree), Second (Master Degree), Third (PhD) Cycle Degree programs or Specializing Master at an Italian University located abroad or in Italy/the Republic of San Marino.
  • You have been enrolled, before the 2021/22 academic year, in University outside Italy or in Italy/the Republic of San Marino for more than two academic years. 
  • You are the recipient of any other Italian7 or foreign scholarships or financial aid at the time of the application or at the time of the publication of the awarding of the scholarships and for the entire duration of the TOPoliTO scholarship (A.Ys. 2021/22 - 2022/23 - 2023/24).
  • You are part of any Double or Joint Degree project as an incoming student attending a Bachelor Science program at Politecnico di Torino.
  • You have obtained a credit recognition higher than 30 credits at Politecnico di Torino.
