Richmond International Film Festival (RIFF) in USA FilmFreeway

FilmFreeway is inviting all filmmakers to take part in Richmond International Film Festival competition in USA. The Richmond International Film Festival (RIFF) screens more than 135 cutting edge film premieres plus six full days of events, conferences and music making it one of the Mid-Atlantic's largest international competitive festivals.

• Grand Jury Winners (Film):

1. The best feature film receives $500 cash
2. The best short film receives $250 cash.

• These winners receive a special recognition trophy:

1. Best of Festival Award for Best Narrative (Feature & Short)
2. Best Animation (Short)
3. Best Documentary (Feature & Short)
4. Best Experimental (Short)
5. Best Music Video
6. Best Episodic Series. 

• The best feature script receives $500 cash
• The best short screenplay receives $250 cash. 
• Additional top genre winners are awarded certificates in each main category.

• RIFF accepts feature films and scripts (over 40 minutes/pages), short films and scripts (under 40 min/pages).
• All entrants must submit their entry form and payment online then submit your film or script electronically through the submission site. 
• All applicants (s) testify to be at least 18 years or older and warrant as the author of submitted material.
• If submitting to more than one category, you must fill out a separate entry form and submit the appropriate entry fee for each. 
• Submissions may not be withdrawn once completed, and entry fees are non-refundable. 
• Non-English language films must have English subtitles. 
• Scripts submissions must be submitted in a PDF or Microsoft Word file.
• Film projects must be completed on or after January 1, 2022 to be considered for the 2023 Richmond International Film Festival. 
• Entry fees are payable through FilmFreeway.
