Team Up for Climate Challenge for Students with Cash Prizes for Each Winner

Agorize is accepting entries for Team up for climate Challenge 2022 that is open to students from all over the world and all disciplines. We propose you to create or join a team of committed students in order to contribute to the subject: adapting and living together in the face of climate risks.

It will be a complete experience: we will explain you the problematic, share with you inspiring solutions, and then mentor you to overcome your limits. 

Ready to take up this challenge? We will guide you all along the event to help you answer one of these questions:

1. How can we adapt to climate reality and promote the integration of affected populations? 
2. How can we manage climate risks to reduce our vulnerability and enhance resilience? 
3. How to reduce the gap between directly affected populations and world top emitters of GHG? 

All awarded students will be named «Young Earth Champions» (Jeunes Champions de la Terre) and will participate to the award ceremony at the Earth University at the UNESCO, Paris. 

Good to know: all participants will be included to the Egis Innovation Alumni Network to connect with employees, start-ups and former innovation award participants and internship opportunities!

• 15000€ Cash Prize: Individual prize for each member of 3 winning teams (1st 1500€, 2nd 1000€, 3rd 500 €)
• Earth University: Public presentation of the project for the 3 winning teams at Earth University event.
• Mentoring and Expertise: Team mentoring during Phase 2 and expert time credit for 3 winning teams.
• HR opportunities: Resume review and interview for all selected teams during Phase 2.
• Visit Us: For all selected teams close to Egis offices opportunity to visit and meet local employees.

1. This Challenge is open and offered solely to: Student. Any individual aged eighteen (18) years and/or with full legal capacity, who (i) is currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution or (ii) has recently graduated from a post-secondary institution less than 2 years before the current scholar year, with a student card to prove it. Each student may only participate once in each Challenge. If the participant is a minor, you must provide this authorization signed by a parent or guardian in the name of the minor.
2. All the documents that may confirm the Participant’s eligibility will be required prior to awarding any prizes (e.g. identity document, student card, etc.).
3. This Challenge is not open to employees and representatives of the Sponsor and Agorize and the members of their families.
4. Participation in the Challenge must be as a team.
5. Teams. Individual Participants may elect to form a team (“Team”) of 2 to 5 members maximum. Each Team member must accept these Rules, by clicking a hyperlink through the Agorize interface. Sponsor may disqualify any Team (and all its members) in the case where any one member has not accepted or violates these Rules.
6. The goal of the Challenge is for Participants to submit contributions (or projects) meeting the requirements determined by the Sponsor in the Challenge brief, and that are formalized by deliverables.
