Online Competition for Short Films and a Chance to Win 200.00 USD

Ten Scary Minutes is calling everyone who is creative and has a wide imagination to an online horror short films competition in its 9th annual edition. The focus of the contest is to encourage creative video storytelling through dialogue sound and visual imagery by creating a short, up to, ten-minute horror movie. This is your chance to become the next movie horror master.

If you win this competition, you will get:

• $200.00 USD.

Please note: The prize is wired to the winner using Western Union.

You must follow the following criteria:

1. Your video production contest entry to Ten Scary Minutes must be at least 720P HD resolution or better.
2. Your submission cannot exceed 10 minutes, including opening titles and credits.
3. If you are under the age of 13, you need to have a legal guardian complete the submission on your behalf. 
4. You cannot re-use a Submission from previous years.
5. You agree not to use any high-risk stunts, a film in high-risk or restricted areas or depicted any persons in ways that are intended to be disparaging.
6. You have obtained the written consent of any persons to use their likeness in your Submission.
7. You own the copyright of your production and have the authority and capacity to assign the right to use the Submission.
8. To enter you accept and agree to be governed by the Production Rules and the Content Rules when producing your Submission.
9. You grant non-exclusive worldwide rights for the use of your Submission in whole or in part, to be used by the producers of the Tens Scary Minutes video contest without financial consideration.
10. Your Submission end title credits must include the following statements:

• List the type of camera used (smartphones or tablets, you may use any non-professional video camera, like GO Pro, DSLR, etc.
• List the editing software you used.
• Credit any special effects used.
• Credit any stock images or videos you used.
• Credit any copyrighted audio elements used.
• Credit Directors, Actors, Production Persons.

Ten Scary Minutes is an online horror movie-making contest. The goal, to create a 10-minute horror movie, using a smartphone, tablet, or POV camera, like GoPro, etc. for the video capture. Moreover, you may use any non-professional video camera.
