International Photography Competition (INTERNATIONAL PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR)

International Portrait Photographer Award invites all photographers from all over the world to participate in its edition for this year. Just submit your best images, and you get a chance to US$10,000 in cash prizes shared between the overall winner and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each of the four categories, plus a printed copy of the book from Momento Pro. Take up this chance to be successful this year.

If you are among the winners, you will have one of the following prizes:

• Overall First Prize:
• Cash prize of US $3,000.
• Trophy, inclusion and feature in the International Portrait Photographer of the Year Awards Book.
• A printed copy of the International Portrait Photographer of the Year Awards Book.
• For each category, the following prizes will be awarded:
• First Prize: US $1,000
• Second Prize: US $500
• Third Prize: US $250
• Plus the aforementioned cash prizes, you will have:
• Trophy, inclusion, and feature in the International Portrait Photographer of the Year Awards Book.
• A printed copy of the International Portrait Photographer of the Year Awards Book.

• A PDF certificate honoring your achievement and ready for printing.
• Download a PDF version of the International Portrait Photographer of the Year Awards book, with permission to display and present on your website.

You should follow the following criteria:

• The Awards are open to all photographers, professional and amateur, around the world. 
• Your portrait entry must have been photographed on or after 1 January 2019.
• You always retain full ownership and copyright in your Entries.
• To be eligible for the Top 101 or a category prize, only one entry is required. 
• To be eligible for the International Portrait Photographer of the Year Award, at least four entries are required.
• There’s no limit to the number of images you can enter, but you cannot enter the same Entry multiple times into different categories.
• The Entries presented for judging must be photographic in origin (taken with a camera).
• You cannot enter photographs that have been entered into this competition in previous years.
• Entries must comply with the following specifications:
• AdobeRGB color space, 8-bit.
• Measure between 4000 and 5000 pixels on the longest side, 300 dpi.
• Be saved as a JPEG (recommended setting 9 or 10).

Please note:

• The entry fee is US$25 per image.
• If you enter by 24 May 2023, every fifth entry is free. 

About International Portrait Photographer: 

The International Portrait Photographer of the Year Awards is presented by the experienced Peter Eastway through his publishing company, Pt 78 Pty Ltd. Peter is well-known in international photography circles and highly respected by many of the world's leading photography brands. He was the Chairman of the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography's) Australian Professional Photography Awards for six years and brings this vast experience to the International Portrait Photographer of the Year Awards.
