ESCWA announces its sixth conference for the Association for Libraries and Digital Preservation of Cultural Heritage. Libraries are the custodians of knowledge, preserving the treasures of cultural heritage and the memory of each country. Today, the world is witnessing the digitization of a huge number of documents at a very rapid pace, to benefit local communities in particular, due to the abundance of opportunities available to discover information through the Internet.

- The conference will present many initiatives and research that address digitization projects and related experiences for academic, public and specialized libraries.
- The conference will also showcase several emerging artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, Bing AI, Gemini AI, and others, and their capabilities in recognizing and preserving images of cultural heritage.
