Training and Funding for Entrepreneurs from the 17 Goals Program for the SDGs

The 17 Goals Program in Entrepreneurship is now available for applicants all over the world. Participate in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 when applying your idea/project in the 17 goals program. The SDGs are an ambitious and transformative set of goals covering a broad range of interconnected social, economic and public good issues. Seventeen invites young people and startups to develop and share ideas for solutions to deliver the SDGs. The program is intended to help catalyze a local conversation among all those concerned and transfer ideas to real life in order to engage with others who share each other's passion for development.

• Funds.
• Business and Media Training.
• Government Support.
• Mentorship.
• Administrative Support.
• Media Exposure.
• Accelerators and Incubators Support.

• Startups & social enterprises (Idea Stage- Early Stage- Growth Stage- Social Enterprise).
• Must correspond to an SDG or a set of SDGs, Learn about SDGs
• Team of entrepreneurs, at least 2 co-founders as full time partners.
• Applicants should be based in Egypt.

Evaluation Criteria:-

• Feasibility
• The presented project should be financially, socially and legally feasible. It is important to demonstrate that the applicants have reviewed all available laws and regulations that govern the initiative, operation and expected development resulting from the project.
• Scalability
• Projects that can be implemented on a small scale and later be expanded to a larger one; serving more people.
• Clarity
• How easy is it to understand the idea behind the project?
• Transferability
• Projects that can be implemented in other areas using the knowledge and experience gained from the implementation of the initial idea.
• Degree of impact
• The extent of the expected change as well as the number of people who will benefit from the project.
• Sustainability
• Projects that are economically, environmentally and socially sustainable that would not cause a depletion of natural resources and are not harmful to the environment.
• Inclusivity
• Projects that address the needs of the most vulnerable including children, women and those suffering from disabilities.
