UNV offers an online volunteer opportunity for two weeks. It is seeking 4 Online Volunteers to support us by translating the 2023 Young Leaders Preparation Bahrain proposal from the Arabic language to the English language.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Translate the document, which is approximately 30 pages long in A4 format, into English.
- Ensure the translation is concise, aligned with communications guidelines, and fits the audience.
Please note: The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and communications guidelines, as well as other guidance as needed.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Previous translation experience.
- Noteworthy is the ability not only to translate but also to interpret the words (use simply clear and understandable for all people's languages).
- Fluent in Arabic language and English language.
- Ability to work 11 - 15 hours per week.
