Special Needs Scholarships for International Students at Brigham Young University in the USA

Brigham Young University (BYU) offers special needs scholarships for international single students 18 years of age or older with a chronic physical impairment, disability, medical or mental condition, limitation, or illness who maintain a 2.7 GPA. The scholarship may be used for any BYU Independent Study course.

If you get one of these scholarships, you will have:

• Up to 100% of course tuition.

You must meet the following criteria:

• single (unmarried) status.
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or an international student residing outside of the U.S. or U.S. territories.
• 18 years of age or older.
• a chronic physical impairment, disability, medical or mental condition, limitation, or illness.
• 2.7 GPA or higher.
• experience taking independent educational courses.
• succinct, clear writing on the application.
• GPA requirements.
