Volunteer in Kenya with UN Volunteers: Design "Africa Women Health Initiative"

United Nations Volunteers programme is offering a volunteer opportunity: Africa Women Health Initiative.

About the Initiative:

• The Africa Women Health Champions initiative is a partnership of UNV and WHO aimed at improving people’s health and wellbeing in the region, while also promoting gender equality and youth engagement on the continent.
• The first phase of the initiative was launched in 2020 and recruited more than 120 UN Volunteer Women Health Champions across 47 countries.
• The second phase of the initiative is scheduled for launch on 8th March 2023 during the International Women’s Day.

Duration:

16 - 20 hours for 10 weeks

• Developing a series of digital designs and products to raise the visibility of the initiative in the region among the development partners, donors, volunteers, and the public.
• 2-month promotion pre, during and post the launch of the 2nd phase of the initiative. Toolkit to include series of custom-made graphic design templates in Adobe and Canva and social media messaging for an average of 3-posts per day for the 2-months. 
• Design should align with corporate social media brand identity.
• Video recording of UN Volunteers and UN personnel to document the impact of the AWHC initiative.
• Series of at least 10 edited social media videos below 1 minute documenting voices from the health champions in the first phase of the initiative. 
• Layout and design of a 10-page flagship report of phase 1 of the initiative, with strategic data visualization and custom-made illustrations. 
• Source documents and data to be provided.
