UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as GANHRI is inviting Online Volunteers with experience in photography/visual arts/design to submit images (photographs, icons, images, infographics, drawings) that can help illustrate the work and mission that we promote.
The material gathered will be used to illustrate GANHRI's work in the thematic areas mentioned above. The illustrations, photos, etc. will populate the GANHRI website, the Newsletters, Flyers, Reports and publication, social media and any other communications mean used by GANHRI.
Volunteer duration and working hours:
1-5 hours per week for 2 weeks.
Duties & responsibilities
- The topics/areas of work of GANHRI & its members are the various themes listed below: Sustainable Development Goals, Human rights defenders/civic space, Climate change, Business and human rights, Asylum seekers/migrants/displaced and stateless persons, Persons with disability, Older persons, Gender equality, Torture and ill-treatment, Children’s and youth’s human rights.
- More information: Technical quality (for photo&images) : a minimum of 500 x 300 pixels. jpeg or png. Political correctness: appropriate geographical and gender balance;sensitivity concerning religious, ethnic and political issues;sensitivity concerning any representation of violence. GANHRI will provide attribution and credits for the selected visual material to the artist, mainly through its website.
Eligibility criteria
- The volunteer should be sensitive to the human rights field and willing to contribute with her/his skills to enrich the communications of GANHRI.
- Required languages: English.
