Opportunity description

UN Volunteers platform is offering a volunteering opportunity in Switzerland, to do Video Editing and Support for OCHA Welfare Platform and Mobile Application. 

With this task, OCHA in Switzerland is aiming to increase inclusion and outreach for supporting the wellbeing of their staff, mainly located in the field. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to implement creative ideas, learn about the work of the staff counsellors/staff psychologists working in emergency context in the humanitarian field.

Volunteer duration and working hours:

16-20 hours per week / 12 weeks.


Duties & responsibilities

OCHA Switzerland is looking for the support of an online volunteer for video creation and edition for their Welfare Platform. This platform contains resources for staff wellbeing and for emergency response. Your tasks include recording and editing 10 to 12 short video interviews, with subtitles, of maximum 5-7 minutes each, with psychologists, experienced humanitarian workers, covering topics on health and wellbeing for the OCHA Welfare Platform.

Eligibility criteria

  • Required experience: Previous experience in recording, filming, and editing audio and video material is required. Please provide a sample of your work if you have any.
  • Languages: English, Level: Fluent, Required
