Volunteer Opportunity by UAE Volunteer Platform: SANID Championship 2023 Group 1 : ( Abu Dhabi Emirates volunteers)

Invitation to all SANID volunteers. Secure your spot in “SANID Championship 2023” and compete in emergency crisis challenges and scenarios!

SANID Championship 2023 is an exciting three-week event that aims to showcase the emergency response skills and crisis readiness of the UAE's most skilled volunteers. Organized by Emirates Foundation as part of the SANID program for national emergency response, the championship provides an opportunity for socially responsible volunteers to demonstrate their abilities and stay actively engaged.

Scheduled to take place from September 30th to October 21st, the championship will bring together teams from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates.

Teams will compete against each other in a series of challenging tasks that cover various areas, including first aid, lifting the injured, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, fire extinguishing, and suppression, among others.

While the championship promises to be an enjoyable and bonding experience for the participating volunteers, each team will strive for top honors as they showcase their emergency response capabilities.

• Championship Stage 1 will consist of three groups, with 5-15 teams per group, each comprising 10 volunteers. The groups are as follows: 
• 
  
  • Group 1: Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra volunteers
  • Group 2: Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman volunteers
  • Group 3: Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and the Eastern Region volunteers
• In the Final Stage, the three winning teams from the aforementioned groups (totaling 9 teams- 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd places from each group) will compete for the ultimate championship title. Following the finals, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced and celebrated for their outstanding performance.
• Teams will compete against each other in a range of demanding challenges covering:

  1. First Aid- Handling Bleeding and Bruns, Handling Fractures
  2. Lifting and Carrying victims and injured
  3. CPR
  4. Fire safety
  5. Radio Communication
• Judging Criteria 
• 
  
  1. Time Required to do the task/challenge correctly and professionally applying the learned skills
  2. Adhering to Sanid training learned emergency response skills acquired and given in SANID trainings and following the basic rules
  3. Ensure taking all required safety measures while applying the skill/doing the challenge
  4. Efficiency of communication between team members and showing teamwork skills
