Volunteer Opportunity for UAE Nationals by CDA: Organizing the sports walkway in Jumeirah

Nabdhalemarat Volunteer Team in participation with Community Development Authority is providing a field volunteer opportunity for UAE nationals, within event Organizing the sports walkway in Jumeirah. Place: Kite Beach + Sunset Mall Jumeirah Kite Beach Jumeirah3 + Sunset Mall. Date: From 02/19/2022 Until 3/27/2022. The days: Saturday and Sunday of every week only. Time: 03.30 pm to 06.30 pm. Participation is open to both males and females.

Num. of Required Volunteers:

 (20) people per day, overall of 300.

Number Of Hours:

60.

Volunteers Tasks:

1. Regulation by preventing bicycles of all kinds from passing on the sports track
2. Commitment to the specified time.
3. Adhere to the instructions of the event leader.
4. Getting doses of the COVID-19 vaccine
5. uniforms: For men: sports uniform (black shoes and pants + white shirt) For women: black sports shoes + black abaya or black sports wear.

The volunteer gets:

Certificate of Appreciation and Certified volunteer hours.

Termination of the Volunteer Agreement:

The volunteer agreement ends in any of the following cases:

1. The expiration of the volunteer work or the expiration of the term of the volunteer agreement.
2. One of the parties to the Volunteer Agreement notifies the other party of its desire to terminate the Volunteering Agreement while it is still in force, provided that such notification is written and takes place within a reasonable period before the expiry of the period specified in the Volunteer Agreement.
3. A breach inflicted by one of the parties to the agreement of its obligations stipulated in the volunteering agreement.
4. The volunteer’s death or illness that prevents him/her from carrying out the volunteer work.
5. Sentencing the volunteer with a penalty restricting freedom by virtue of a final court ruling.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY:

The volunteer shall be exempted from civil and criminal liability to the same extent enjoyed by the employee of the Volunteering Entity, provided that all necessary controls and conditions are met for exemption from liability, and in particular the following:

1. To be registered with the Authority.
2. The volunteer agreement concluded between volunteer and the volunteer entity is still valid.
3. Volunteer has had received adequate training, and that volunteer work should not exceed the work he/she was trained for.
4. That the Volunteer Work undertaken by him/her is in good faith, with the aim of carrying out the Volunteer Work specified in the Volunteer Agreement, and not to receive any reward or personal benefit.
5. There should be no negligence or error on the part of the Volunteer.

Volunteer Responsibility:

The Volunteering Entity shall be responsible to third parties for the results of the Volunteer Work performed by the Volunteer.

The Community Development Authority (CDA) was founded by a decree of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in July 2008.
