An Opportunity to Participate in Zaporizhzhia International Film Festival for Short Films

Film Freeway announces a Zaporizhzhia International Film Festival. The purposes of the festival are:

• Acquaint cinema lovers around the globe with the world's best shorts in the documentary, fiction, and animation genre.
• Discover talented directors and open them to the world.
• Spread domestic cinema, support national cinema, as well as films and video works of co-production that preserve the traditions of Ukrainian cinematography.

1. Best Shorts will participate at Zaporizhzhia International Film Festival.
2. The best films and their authors will have an opportunity to get the main prize of the festival.

Your work must:

• Completed after January 1st, 2019.
• Completed films accepted only.
• Run time of fewer than 20 minutes.
• Films in a language other than English must be subtitled in English.

1. Firstly, the films are pre-watched by the selection committee members based in Ukraine.
2. Secondly, after the best films are selected, the films are proposed to take part in Zaporizhzhia International Film Festival.
3. Thirdly, the official jury of the festival will choose the best film in every nomination of the international competition:
4. The best fiction short.
5. The best documentary short.
6. The best animated short.
7. There are the following nominations in the National Competition:
8. The best Ukrainian fiction short.
9. The best Ukrainian documentary short.
10. The best Ukrainian animated short.

• The festival requires preview screeners of films to be submitted online (with private Youtube or Vimeo links ONLY). The competition doesn't accept physical submissions, i.e. DVDs.
