Opportunity description

Tashkeel is pleased to announce a workshop for young entitled; Sunday Funday: Surrealist Games, with Diego Mendoza. It is a fun opportunity for families to discover the wonderful world of Surrealism (practiced by artists like Salvador Dalì and Frida Kahlo) using the creative games invented and used during the early 20th century.

About Trainer:

Diego Mendoza, who holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts, works as Tashkeel's educational and outreach program coordinator. The artist, of Mexican origins, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar, and a Master’s in Arts and Educational Leadership. Diego previously worked in the cultural and private education sectors in Qatar, Indonesia, Dubai, Tanzania, and Mexico.

  • This workshop is open to 15 participants.
  • Age Limit: Ages 7 to 12 years.
  • Location: Al Safa Art & Design Library.
  • The Participation Fee is AED 90.00 (+VAT).
