Online Workshop for Activists in the Field of Combating Violence Against Women from Tanmua for Civil Society

Tanmua for Civil Society invites activists and active institutions in the field of combating violence against women to the opportunity to join an online workshop (running from March to July) and to obtain practical training in the skills of writing radio content and managing radio techniques to combat violence against women, which extends for another 3 months. From July to September 2022. This training targets at least 60 participants, with each training having between 15 to 20 female trainees. This is your opportunity to acquire content writing skills that make you able to refine your literary language and build objective texts and programs with ideas that support the issues that concern you and contribute to developing your ability to express your life and personal experiences and link them to combating violence against women.

If you join this workshop, you will have the opportunity to:

•  Acquisition of the necessary intellectual and writing skills, which are summarized in how to arrange ideas and produce a readable text, using the appropriate words for the type of work performed.
• Knowing all the information related to the importance of combating violence against women and respecting diversity and difference.
•  Acquiring the skills of selecting the executed topic, determining the goal of focusing on it, and choosing the appropriate radio format for it.
• Develop your ideas and expand the barriers between them and bold ideas.
•  Adapting to and expressing your personal experience, fears, and dreams in radio programs, and then linking them to how to benefit from them in combating violence against women.
• Enabling you to turn each idea into a written and then readable paragraph, helps you express your thoughts fully without fear or dread.
•  The trained body contributes to the production of written ideas and their transformation into radio programs broadcast on Radio Voice.

Training content

This training includes:

1. Learn to write radio content (writing radio programs - radio series).
2. Learn radio program techniques (dealing with sound techniques and sound montage).
3. Learn to manage radio content (activate and manage podcasts).
