Job Opportunity at Al Futtaim in UAE: Medical Transcriptionist 2020

Al Futtaim Group is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist to work with the team in Dubai, UAE for 2020. 

Responsibilities:

1. Collects all reports and documents for transcribing from responsible organizational unit leader.
2. Transcribes reports and documents in English and /or Arabic in the required format and font.
3. Transcribes reports dictated through the telephone in English.
4. Transcribes minutes written  in paper format or recorded electronically.
5. Ensures transcribed documents are accurate and appropriately formatted.
6. Prints or scans transcribed documents as needed.
7. Forwards transcribed documents to appropriate individual for correction or approval.
8. Revises and corrects documents ass needed and returns for approval.
9. Files and stores documents electronically or manually as required and maintains appropriate database or document retrieval system.
10. Keeps daily reports of transcribed medical reports.
11. Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Healthcare management or equivalent in related field.
2. Minimum 2 to 4 years GCC healthcare experience in a similar role.
3. Require basic knowledge in Medical Terminology and typing.
