Expo 2020 Dubai is searching for a Senior Specialist - Uniform Systems who is responsible for supporting the delivery and maintenance of the uniform module of the Workforce Management System, including data collection and configuration for system set-up, system testing and implementation, end-user training and providing ongoing end-user support. Working closely with relevant internal and external system stakeholders to ensure the success of the uniform program at Expo 2020.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting with the implementation of the Uniform Module in the Workforce Management System as an efficient tool to streamline the uniform processes.
- Providing seamless integration between relevant systems and modules, for example, the Accreditation System, Workforce Module, Inventory Management System and Uniform Module.
- Work closely on the system implementation with System Provider, IFT department, and the Workforce Functional Area.
- Develop training materials and deliver training on the system across the Uniform function for end-users (contractors and volunteers).
- Produce daily system reports as directed for the uniform operation.
- Consult end users to ascertain needs.
- Ensure that functionality meets users or project requirements.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate hardware.
- Manage the modules integrity and backup procedures.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- A Bachelor's degree within a relevant field.
- Previous Systems development and analytics experience, working with complex high volume databases, showing attention to detail.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, successfully balancing priorities and multiple demands on time and quality against tight deadlines.
- Experience in building quality working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Project management experience in a fast-paced environment, initiative, problem-solving skills.
- Experience with retail systems processes, design, and mapping.
